✨ 25th year Silver Jubilee event

The Federation of Tamil Nadu Differently Abled Association (FEDABLED), which is a part of TNDFCT, celebrated its 25th year Silver Jubilee on December 15, 2023, at Amma Arangam in Chennai. The Chief Guest at the event was Dr. Iraianbu, who is the Chief Secretary (Retired) of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Other distinguished guests who attended the event were Mr. Ma foi K. Pandarajan, Chairman of Ma foi, Mrs. Ladha Pandiarajan, Mrs. Padma Venkataram, the daughter of former President of India Mr. Venkataraman, Mr. Padmasingh Isaac, founder chairman of Aachi group of companies, and Mr. R. Prabakaran, Legal Adviser at FEDABLED.

The event saw the presentation of more than 100 awards to donors, supporters, corporations, and state and district leaders of FEDABLED, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to FEDABLED’s 25 years of service to the disabled community.

During the event, disability welfare measures were distributed to over 250 disabled people from across the state. These measures included 100 wheelchairs, 25 foldable tricycles, and 25 commercial sewing machines to empower women with disabilities. Additionally, 50 merchandise kits were distributed to visually impaired individuals to aid in their livelihood, and 50 hearing aids were distributed to people with hearing impairments. The total value of the measures distributed was Rs. 35 lakh. Over three thousand disabled people from all over the state took part in this event.
