We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the third batch of the Entrepreneurial Development Programme (EDP), supported by the PayPal Community Impact Grant 2023, held on April 16, 2024, at the TNDFCT Training Hall, This training session aimed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to establish and operate small micro-businesses for their livelihood support.

The comprehensive training curriculum covered a range of topics, including small vending shops, merchandising products, personality development, customer relationships, banking and accounting operations, purchasing skills, stock maintenance, motivation, and project work. The session was attended by 25 enthusiastic individuals who were eager to learn and grow.

We are especially grateful to Ms. Janani Velmurugan from PayPal, who delivered an inspiring motivational speech to the participants via Zoom. Her words of encouragement and support have undoubtedly fueled the entrepreneurial aspirations of many.

We are also delighted to report that a generous corporate donor has committed to funding seven participants for establishing bunk shops, including three Aavin booths, at a total cost of Rs. 12 lakhs. This support will enable these individuals to kickstart their entrepreneurial journey and contribute to their economic empowerment.

TNDFCT aims to extend similar opportunities to the remaining participants within the upcoming year, continuing our mission to empower individuals with disabilities through entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihood initiatives.
