TNDFCT Handing Over Ceremony of 25 Pushcarts to Disability Beneficiaries

Tamilnadu Differently Abled Federation Charitable Trust (TNDFCT), with the generous support of Ford Motors Private Limited, successfully conducted the handing-over ceremony of 25 pushcarts to 25 differently-abled beneficiaries under the Entrepreneurial Project. This initiative aims to empower people with disabilities by enabling them to establish small vending shops and achieve economic independence.

The event took place on March 21, 2025, at Fedabled Arrangam, Chennai. Out of the 25 beneficiaries, 20 were from Chennai, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur districts, while 5 were from Kallakurichi district.

The esteemed guests of honor, Mr. Srini, CSR Head, Ford Motors, along with Mr. Senthil, Mr. Jibby Mathew, and Ms. Susetra from Ford, personally handed over the pushcarts worth ₹50,000 each, along with a ₹10,000 cheque as working capital assistance for procuring merchandise and establishing their small vending businesses.

The event was presided over by Dr. P. Simmachandran, President, TNDFCT, Professor Dr. D. Ponnusamy, Secretary, TNDFCT, and Mr. T. Karuppaiah, Treasurer, TNDFCT. State and district office bearers of FEDABLED were also present to extend their support and encouragement to the beneficiaries.
