Makizhchi Diwali Celebration – A Joyous Festival of Inclusion and Happiness
On October 27, 2024, the Tamilnadu Differently Abled Federation Charitable Trust (TNDFCT), in collaboration with Kind Trust, hosted a heartfelt celebration of Makizhchi Diwali for 350 specially-abled individuals. The event was a vibrant gathering filled with joy, festivity, and a deep sense of inclusion, demonstrating the collective spirit of caring for the differently abled.
The celebration began with a warm welcome by Mr. Sugal Chand Jain, President of Kind Trust, who graciously greeted all the guests, including TNDFCT trustees and key representatives of FEDABLED. The spirit of the occasion was enriched by the distribution of new clothes and delightful Diwali sweet and savory packs for each of the specially-abled guests, symbolizing both the joy of giving and the warmth of community support.
Cultural performances, including a lively music and dance program, brought colour and excitement to the day, filling the atmosphere with laughter and happiness. As a tribute to the remarkable legacy of the great humanist and industrialist, Ratan Tata, memories of his contributions to society were recalled, reminding all present of the importance of compassion and dedication in building an inclusive society.
